

Danny Gracia passed away on April 28th 2025 at home surrounded by loved ones he was 80 . Danny is survived by his loving wife Helen of nearly 60 years sons Jeff daughter in-n-law Michelle and Robert . He is also survived by 6 grandchildren Daniel, Selena, Julia, Mallorie, Robert and Jasmine, 4 great-grandchildren and his brother Art Gracia along with many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Guadalupe and Lupe Gracia, brothers Robert, David and Rudy Gracia and daughter Sandy Gracia. He will now be reunited with his Daughter Sandy, brothers and many family and friends.
Danny opened Danny’s paint shop in Ontario, Ca in 1976 where he painted many custom cars- trucks , race cars and motorcycles. He left the shop to his boys and begun a career at the NHRA where he worked for nearly 30 years as a Tech inspector and eventful becoming the National Tech Director a position he held for 25 plus years.
Danny enjoyed traveling spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed camping with his friends back in the day especially with Joe and Connie Hernandez and their girls. He also loved working on his cars that he built for himself attending car shows, swap meets and anything to do with cars. Danny was very fond of all memories he had working with the people at NHRA and the racing community.
The family would also like to say a special thank you to his daughter in- law Michelle for all her special care she gave him in his later years. Bryan Banda , Danny Broquier his friend Eliene for all the help and care and love you guys showed Danny and Jay and Shelly Payne for all the hospital visits to keep him company.
Please join us in celebrating Danny’s remarkable life. A visitation will be held at Drapers Mortuary 811 N. Mountain Ave Ontario, Ca 91762 Tuesday May 20th from 4pm -8pm. A funeral service will occur Wednesday May 21st 9am – 11am 811 N. Mountain Ave Ontario, Ca 91762. Burial to follow from 11:30am to 12:30 at Bellevue Memorial park, 1240 W. G ST Ontario, Ca 91762.
A reception will be held following the service at Chino American Legion hall located at 13759 Central Ave Chino, Ca 91710
