Darlene was married to the love of her life, Gerald Finley Kellogg on December 27, 1974. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is known for being a very hard worker, raising and caring for six children while working outside the home. She worked at Mt. San Antonio College as an office manager and was also a hairdresser in her younger years. She spent countless hours supporting her children, taking them to cheerleading meets, wrestling matches, baseball games, and even was there for them when they got into trouble, as kids will do, or needed help and support.
She had a passion for church, her friends, travel, and Bible study. She loved people very much and did numerous community service volunteer projects, including taking her whole family to Samoa for Save the Earth project. Darlene loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was always there to help care for them and provide lots of fun for them. You were always welcome at Darlene's home, the front door was always unlocked. She was loved dearly by all friends and family and will be missed.
Darlene is survived by her children and their spouses; Diane Marie Smith (Donald Lee Smith III), Kathryne Helen Lindsley (Larry William Lindsley), John Fredrick Kellogg, Karl Dennis Kellogg (Denise Lynn Kellogg), Kenneth Arthur Kellogg (Sherril Ann Kellogg), and Jeremy George Kellogg (Jenah Gabriele Kellogg).
