

In her early years, Donna loved basketball and played for her local high school. She later became an avid Lakers fan. She excelled in math and enjoyed her Sudoku games all the way to her last days.
Donna married Bob James on December 12, 1959 and they moved to Montclair in 1962 with their two sons, Scott and Jeff. There she worked as a collections agent, until they opened Montclair Automotive a few years later. Donna was very involved in Little League, Pop Warner Football, RV camping, and spending time at their second home in Bullhead City, Nevada with her family. She loved boating and gaming at the Casinos. She went on to become a pillar of the Montclair community and was involved with the City Council and a member of Soroptomist International when she joined at the age of 39. Donna went on to become the Governor of the Goldenwest region, and loved her many, many years of service.
Donna was also a dedicated member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Ontario, and served as a lector there. She loved her parish family and awoke at 5 am every morning to spend time with God and to read in her devotionals.
Donna was preceded in death by her son Scott in 1986 and her husband Bob in 2010. She is survived by her son Jeff (daughter-in-law Loretta); Grandchildren Michael, Brittany, Jesse (Brittany), Scotty (Jamie) and Harmonie; Great-grandchildren Halie, Cloey, Sophie, Marilyn, Maddix, Porter, Logan, and baby Jessie; Her brother Bobby (Kathy); Nephews Brad and Brian; And nieces Cindy and Danielle.
