

Esteban Guillen, 75, of Ontario, California died on October 26, 2013 in Loma Linda, California where he had been residing for the past 25 years. He was born on January 2, 1938 to Ramona and Luis Guillen in Durango, Mexico and lived in Ontario for 24 years before retiring in Loma Linda, California. He worked as a foreman in construction for 32 years where he was recently honored for his 50th year as a member of the Laborers International Union of North America local 1184. His hobbies included fishing, gardening, camping, and watching and playing baseball. He was most known for his generosity by helping family and friends with home remodeling projects.
Esteban is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary Guillen, and his sons Esteban, Jr. and Hector Guillen. He is preceded in death by his son Manuel Guillen. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Esteban was the eldest of 8 siblings, all residents of southern California.
Viewing will be held Sunday November 3, 2013 from 5 to 8pm at Draper Mortuary, 811 N. Mountain Avenue, Ontario, California 91762. Funeral service will be held at 10am Monday, November 4, 2013 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 10816 Mountain View Avenue, Loma Linda, California 92354. Burial services immediately following at Bellevue Memorial Park, 1240 West G Street, Ontario, California 91762.
