Gee Lun White

Gee Lun White, (Mama Gee) passed away on the morning of, May 24, 2017 at San Antonio Hospital, Upland, California, after a long battle with cancer and surrounded by her family. She was 68 years old. She was born May 29, 1948 in Los Angeles, California to Frank and Costelle Yep. She went to John C. Fremont High School and graduated in 1966.

She worked as an International banker for First Interstate bank for 23 years. She enjoyed bowling, gambling, gardening and politics. She was a student of politics and loved holding long discussions in that arena. She married in 1969 to Curtis White, her husband of 48 years. Gee is survived by her husband, Curtis White, two daughters Catrice Cota and Mia Alonzo, three grandchildren, Andrew, R.J. and Zoe, brother Howard Yep, and two sisters Mee Mickens and Gam Vital. She is preceded in death by her father Frank and mother Costelle Yep, her brothers David and Loy Yep.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at Draper Mortuary 811 Mountain Ave., Ontario. Services will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Draper Mortuary. A graveside service will be held at Bellevue Cemetery in Ontario in the Veterans' section immediately following. Repast will be held at Mr. & Mrs. Rick Alonzo’s house 5569 Canistel Ave., Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91737. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the City of Hope .
