WHEN THE MOON'S ABOVE THE MOUNTAIN
(and the sun's beneath the sea)
Heart's in heaven
and heaven is near,
WHEN THE MOON'S ABOVE THE MOUNTAIN
And the sun's beneath the sea.
Earth will wonder
and wondering gaze
At the billion stars that look down
And set the universe ablaze.
Up where the pine trees sigh
Their songs to night.
There's a place one can find out
Just what's wrong or right.
There is heaven
Even there for me.
With a voice to murmur tenderly,
WHEN THE MOON'S ABOVE THE MOUNTAIN
And the sun's beneath the sea.
