

Jeddie Neal Churchill of Ontario, California passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at the age of 77. Jeddie was born in Monterey Park, CA on April 26, 1945. His parents were Melvin Duane Churchill and Mary Churchill (Christophersen).
Jeddie graduated from Chaffey High School and went on to get his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University. He was married to Delcie Elaine Dastrup on January 22, 1968, in the Salt Lake City, Utah temple for time and all eternity. Jeddie proudly served in the United States Naval Air service in 1969 & 1970 at the rank of Ensign, and departed with an Honorable Discharge. Jeddie's career in banking spanned 38 years. He achieved the title of Senior Vice President working for such banks as Wells Fargo, Tokai, Bank of the West, and Mitsui. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and had a passion for reading, writing stories, and helping others. When able to, Jeddie happily donated blood and platelets for the Red Cross earning a place in their 10-gallon club. Jeddie and his family were long time residents of Ontario and the surrounding area for over 62 years.
Jeddie is survived by his wife, Delcie Churchill; his sister, Jean Churchill Bearden of Yucaipa, CA; his children, Deric C. Churchill (Leslie) of Yucaipa, CA, Risa Churchill Amato of Claremont, CA, Jared M. Churchill (Liz) of Orem, UT, Marci Churchill Butler (Philip) of Upland, CA, Tandi Jeanine Churchill of Syracuse, UT, and Evan Joshua Churchill (Farrah) of Riverside, CA; 17 grandchildren, Ian Churchill, Amie Churchill Jensen, Owen Churchill, Emilie Churchill, Esli Amato, Zander Amato, Anica Amato, Ezra Amato, Asha Churchill, Cameron Churchill, Alyssa Churchill, Bryson Churchill, Chloe Churchill, Aubrey Butler, Dashden Churchill, Austin Churchill, and Asher Churchill; 9 bonus grandchildren, Bryan Bell, Katie Bell, Molly Bell, Jake Bell, Max Bell, Dallin Bell, Jayden Watkins, Aubree Watkins, and Alyssa Miracle; great-grandchild Nova Churchill, and bonus great-grandchild Dawson Miracle.
A private family viewing will be held Friday, September 30, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 701 E. Rosewood Court, Ontario, CA 91764. The public funeral service will be held in the church from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM. Following the funeral service will be a committal service from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Bellevue Memorial Park, 1240 West G Street, Ontario, CA 91762.
