Jeff’s love for motorcycles led him to his career as a motorcycle technician and eventually ended up landing his dream job for Kawasaki Motorsports. When people would ask him what he does for work, he would reply: "I get to play around all day doing what I love to do, work on toys."
He had always loved the Kawasaki brand and would get everything in that iconic Kawasaki green. Even after breaking his arm in a motorcycle accident, he got his cast in that very color.
Jeff loved his job and when he would come home, we would BBQ almost every day:
Tri- tip, Carne Asada, salmon, etc. He loved watching baseball with his family, and after the game was over and everyone went to their rooms, Jeff would stay up late watching Files of the Unexplained. He enjoyed riddles and puzzles which would explain his obsession with the unexplainable.
Memories and words of love from his siblings:
Jeff could fix anything!
When he was as young as 10 years old and our tv was not working, he’d pull the back panel off and get it working. Fixing things seemed to come natural for him. He loved putting together models and loved electronics and motors.
Jeff would take apart his electronic toys, radios and so on - just to see how they functioned and then he would put them back together again.
A fun memory is Jeff tying up a sled and pulling us behind his motorcycle around the snowy streets in Longmont, Colorado.
His love for motorcycles began at an early age as well. Jeff got a job working at a mini-bike shop part time at the age of 15.
When he was 18 and working for Honda in Colorado, they sent him to a school out in California as they saw the potential in him to learn more. Jeff would go for long rides on his motorcycle, North of Hwy 66 in Longmont by himself or with friends and often take us for a ride on the back.
While riding in the car with our mom on our way to buy groceries, we would see Jeff ride by on his motorcycle, and he would pop a wheelie and ride it for the longest time.
He was so happy, so brave, so funny and very talented.
Jeff was always very independent and at the early age of 16, moved out on his own.
He had a love for dogs, and always favored German Shephard’s. His love blessed him with his current dog named Racks who Jeff spoiled and loved so much.
For those who knew him well, you knew how much he loved and adored his grandchildren to the moon and back. He was so proud of Stephen and Alyzah and doted over them with a full heart. A bright light seemed to be lit around Jeff when he was with his grandchildren or just talking about them.
He will be missed by all, but he gave us so much to remember him by:
Jeff Priddy: Dad, Grandpa, Husband, Son, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, Cousin, Friend.
