

James (Jim) William Morin, 69 of Ontario, California, passed away March 4, 2021 at Chino Valley Medical Center. Marissa and Laura were by his side. He was born in Milwaukee Wisconsin on July 5, 1951. He attended parochial school and joined the United State Marines in 1969. He served overseas and reached the rank of Corporal. After his time in the Marines was served he decided to stay in California. He earned an Associate Degree in Science from Chaffey College. He married Laura Lewis in 1987. He began an illustrious career as an aviation electrician and he fabricated electrical systems and panels for private airplanes. His career lasted over 45 years; working on airplanes at many various private airports. His work was recognized in a national magazine at Oshkosh, Wisconsin. He was an expert in his field and enjoyed mentoring others. He and Laura had one child, his beloved daughter Marissa. In his free time he enjoyed flying, riding roller coasters, camping, watching action movies, and reading. He is preceded in death by his mother Genevieve Morin, his father Charles Morin, and his father-in-law Thomas Lewis. He is survived by Laura Morin, his daughter Marissa Morin, his mother-in-law Marita Lewis, his brother Robert and his wife Linda, his sister Jean and nephews Jamie, Steven, and niece Kristie, his sister-in-law Susan and Brad Marriott, his brother-in-law Stephen and Collette, and nephews Joshua, Justin, and Kayden. He had many cousins and great nieces and nephews. He will be laid to rest May 6, 2021 at Riverside national Cemetery.
