Joseph Zabala

Joseph (Joey) Zabala passed away peacefully on January 15, 2023. Joey grew up in Upland, Ca where his heart will always be. He lived in Hesperia, Ca for 20 years where he had many friends. Joey was a long haul truck driver for KKW and Roadway trucking. He will be remembered for his love of music, especially the blues, nature and his family. Joey was a loyal brother and friend and could always be counted on to help whenever called. He adored his three granddaughters, Kayla, Ciera and Taylor. Taylor gave him his first great-grandchild, Gabriel McBride. He had two children, Shonna Clark of Pasadena and Tony Zabala of Los Osos. He leaves behind his brother Bill Zabala of La Crestenta and two sisters, Maryann Moore of Upland and Isabel Ayala of Riverside. Joey also had many nieces and nephews that he loved very much. He is preceded in death by his parents Ramona Zabala of Upland and Joe Zabala of Riverside. A celebration of his life will be held at Draper Mortuary, Friday February 10th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., Cremation and funeral service provided by Draper Mortuary, Ontario Ca.
