She was born to parents Andres and Toribia Lopez on March 19, 1936 in Chino, California.
Josie met her husband, Dave Moreno, in kindergarten. They were married on August 23, 1953 in Yuma, Arizona. Together they raised 3 children: Randy, Sandy, and Doreen. She supported Dave’s dream of being a business owner, and worked as Manager of Dave's Shell Service for 20 years.
Josie had a passion for travelling with her husband. Her favorite places to visit were Mexico, Hawaii, and Las Vegas.
But more than anything, she loved her family and spending quality time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Josie will be remembered by all who knew her for her openness, kindness, and generous spirit.
Josie is survived by her husband, Dave; her children, Randy Moreno, Sandy Moreno, and Doreen Perea; her Son-In-Law, Pete Perea; her Grandchildren, Monica Moreno, Joleen Calaway, her Grandson-In-Law, Kory Calaway, and Pete Perea; and her Great-Grandchildren, Kolin Calaway, Madison Calaway, Kelly Calaway, Kayleen Calaway, and Ellena Moreno.
There will be a private funeral service for the immediate family.
