Julie M. Potts

Julie was born to James Potts and Alice Potts (Hagglund) on October 29, 1948 in California. She graduated from Upland High School class of 1966, with four years of perfect attendance! Julie then continued into higher education and obtained her Associate of Arts Degree from Chaffey Junior College. There she earned the Silver "C" Award, as well as a spot on the Homecoming Court.

Julie started her working career with Western Airlines from 1968-1970. During that time she graduated top of her class, and was also crowned Miss Ontario Airport Princess. Julie would go on to enjoy working as a travel agent for 46 years, eventually owning and operating her own travel agency, the Julie Potts Travel Company in Upland.

Additional accomplishments that Julie wished to be remembered for are her Lifetime Teaching Credential from the state of California; Her award from the Government of Mexico for Top Sales and Promotion of Mexico; and her standing as Honored Queen at the Job's Daughters Bethel 287 in Upland.

A memorial service for Julie will be held Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Draper Mortuary, 811 North Mountain Ave, Ontario, CA 91762, followed by a reception from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
