

A funeral service for Louisa will be held on Friday, August 1st, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Draper Mortuary, located at 811 North Mountain Ave, Ontario, CA 91762.
Following the funeral service a committal service will be held from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Bellevue Memorial Park, located at 1240 W G St, Ontario, CA 91762.
Louisa Alvarez was born April 8th 1952, to Lorenzo Vasquez and Mercy Toledo at Corcoran district hospital in Corcoran California. Louisa lived in Fontana California for 24 years.
Louisa was the eldest of her five siblings Lorenzo jr., Jesse, Gloria, Barbara, and Cindy. Louisa grew up in Cucamonga than later moved to Upland Ca. Louisa remembers growing up with the love of her grandma’s Lorenza & Romona. As a child her favorite place was going to the beach. Later, she met her husband Thomas Olagues Alvarez when she was 15 and him 17. Louisa met him at the park, she stated she was attracted to Thomas wearing his military uniform. They then married on May 4th 1971.
Louisa and Tommy started a family in upland ca. having 3 daughters. Lisa Marie born 1971, Diana Louise 1976 , and Tanya Lorraine 1983. Louisa also cared for her stepson Damian Dean. Louisa had 10 loving grandchildren and 13 beautiful great grandchildren. Louisa was a strong women, she went through a lot
In her life. In the mid 2000’s Louisa was blessed with a new kidney. With her strong faith, trusting in God, and with the help and encouragement family surrounding her she got through it.
Louisa enjoyed going out to eat with her family especially burreto’s and IHOP.
Louisa attended the Living Way Fontana church and really enjoyed the women’s brunches there. She also enjoyed family partings and gatherings. Always smiling with her favorite accessories like her famous red lipstick and red nail polish along with her beautiful jewelry. Louisa loved her mother Mercy dearly and was so happy to read the word while having bible studies with her family.
We will miss her very much and hold all her beautiful memories dearly in our hearts. She is now in the arms of her precious Loving Savior Jesus Christ.
