Lucy Anh Phan

Lucy Anh Phan, 71, of Pomona, California passed away at Pomona Valley Hospital on April 9, 2015. Lucy was born in Vietnam to parents, Dang Van Phan and Lua Thi Vu on April 15, 1944. After growing up in Vietnam, Lucy finally settled in Montclair, California and for 27 years took care of her home and family as well as the Vietnamese Community of St. George Catholic Church where she was a teacher.

Lucy is survived by her husband, Thi Van Hoang, her parents, her sister, Phan Thi Lua and her brothers, Pastor Phan Van Lunz, Phan Duc Liem, Lang, Lan, Lamh, Lieu and Lam.

Visitation services will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Friday, April 17, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM (with a Rosary at 6:30 PM). Both services will be held at Draper Mortuary, 811 N. Mountain Avenue, Ontario, California 91762. St. George Catholic Church located at 505 N. Palm, Ontario, California 91762 will have a mass for Lucy on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 8:30 PM. Following the mass, Lucy will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery, 444 E. Lexington Avenue, Pomona, California 91766.
