
Macario was born to Paula and Julian in Zacatecas, Mexico on January 25, 1938. He met his beloved wife in Mexico when he was just 16 years old. He served in the Mexican army and was self-employed for 50 years, during which he supported his spouse and family.
Macario enjoyed listening to bolero ranchero and the music of Vicente Fernandez, Javier Solis, and Pedro Infante. He was a talented musician and great songwriter, who loved playing the guitar. He also enjoyed watching movies, eating out, visiting his wife's grave, and traveling to Mexico.
Macario was most proud of his nine children and all the generations that followed, as well as his ability to provide them with a better life and opportunities. He was known to his family as courageous, strong, determined, loving, caring, gentle, very resilient, and persistent. He had grit, faith, and endurance.
Macario is predeceased by Alicia Ayala and Jacklyn Ruiz. He is survived by his children Laura, Alicia, Maria, Rosalia, Hortencia, Martha, Michael, Raul, and George, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
