Manuel será recordado como un hombre trabajador, valiente y dedicado a su familia. Sus sacrificios y esfuerzo abrieron nuevas oportunidades para sus hijos y las generaciones que le siguieron. En su pueblo natal, El Llano, Michoacán, México, fue muy querido y respetado. En 1964 abrió una tienda de abarrotes para servir a las familias de su comunidad, reflejando siempre su espíritu emprendedor y generoso.

Junto a su esposa, María Estela Alcalá, construyó una familia basada en el amor y los valores. Después de obtener la residencia permanente en los Estados Unidos, contrajeron matrimonio en 1960 y más tarde establecieron su hogar en Ontario, California, donde criaron a sus siete hijos.

A Manuel le sobreviven su esposa, María Estela González Alcalá; sus hijos Leticia López, Carmen González, Josefina Hernández, Esthela Corona, Celia De La Paz, Manuel González y Jaime González; además de 29 nietos y 24 bisnietos.

Disfrutaba caminar, leer, viajar a El Llano, cuidar a sus nietos y compartir tiempo con su familia. Su canción favorita era "Luna de Octubre", de Pedro Infante. Su amor, su ejemplo, su sentido del humor y los recuerdos que dejó vivirán para siempre en el corazón de su familia y de todos quienes tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo.

Manuel González Moreno passed away on July 24, 2026, at the age of 89. He was born on May 20, 1937, and was a longtime resident of Ontario, California.

Manuel will be remembered as a hardworking, courageous man who was devoted to his family. His sacrifices and determination created new opportunities for his children and the generations that followed. In his hometown of El Llano, Michoacán, Mexico, he was deeply loved and respected. In 1964, he opened a grocery store to serve the families in his community, always reflecting his entrepreneurial and generous spirit.

Together with his wife, María Estela Alcalá, he built a family founded on love and strong values. After obtaining permanent residency in the United States, they married in 1960 and later established their home in Ontario, California, where they raised their seven children.

Manuel is survived by his wife, María Estela González Alcalá; his children, Leticia López, Carmen González, Josefina Hernández, Esthela Corona, Celia De La Paz, Manuel González, and Jaime González; as well as 29 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

He enjoyed walking, reading, traveling to El Llano, caring for his grandchildren, and spending time with his family. His favorite song was “Luna de Octubre” by Pedro Infante. His love, example, sense of humor, and the memories he created will live forever in the hearts of his family and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
