Peggy A. Nelson

69, died December 4 at home in Ontario, CA. Born March 13, 1948 in Burbank, CA, she graduated from Montclair HS in 1966, and worked at Thrifty’s and Orkin Pest Control. Married for 42 years to Robert L. Nelson, who proceeded her in death on October 12, 2017. Bob and Peggy resided in Pomona, Claremont, and for the last 36 years in Ontario. She found joy in her family and dear friends, in addition to collecting beautiful angels and antique pottery.

Peggy is survived by her daughter Kimberly (Nelson) Frost of Fontana, son Robert W. Nelson of Riverside, stepsons, Danny Sanchez of Chino and Joseph Sanchez of San Diego, stepdaughters Julie Scott of Lake Havasu, AZ, Lisa Ollerdessen of Carson City, NV, and Lori Nelson of Red Bluff, CA, sisters Donna Sue Barrera, Mary Ellen Apodaca and Linda Pulido, all of Glendale, AZ, and brothers Sam Ramirez of Glendale, AZ, and Vic Ramirez of Austin TX; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her sister Angie Campos. Viewing at Draper Mortuary in Ontario, Tuesday, December 12 from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be December 13 at 11:00 at Draper. Private interment will be in Bellevue Memorial Park.
