I did not have the pleasure to know you sir, but I was blessed to meet, know and become friends with your beautiful inside and out daughter!  What a beautiful heart and soul you raised; I just felt the need to share with you, your memory and your family… you did good sir; your legacy lives on in the beauty you call Robin🙏🏽❤️🦋

Ren and Ran are and were two of the nicest people I could have hoped to work with at West Randall. They were both 5th at first when I got there, and they team taught, which I thought was so sweet. Then I think they were in 3rd. Anyway, I loved working with them and have missed them since I transferred to a different school. I’m doubly sad because I attended the funeral of another West Randall colleague today. I miss the days of the 90’s and early 2000’s. We had such wonderful people. 

Randolph will be truly missed.  He was not only a great teacher but also a great friend.  He was always willing to help and cared deeply about others.  He was such a caring and loving individual just like his wife, Renetta.  One of my favorite things about him was his ability to smile and laugh and keep a positive attitude no matter what.  His laugh was contagious.  I feel truly blessed to have known him and work with him.  May he Rest In Peace.  We will miss you dearly.  

I had the privilege of being one of Dr. Romero’s students in the early 2000s. As a first generation latchkey child, Dr. Romero’s class was a safe space for me to learn and be. I still remember his jokes, activities, & teachings. Every game, every book we read, and every word of encouragement has been imprinted in my brain forever. I pursued higher education & became an elementary teacher too. Rest in everlasting peace, Dr. Romero. You touched the life of every student that walked through your classroom doors. You believed in your students so much & part of that belief is what has guided & inspired me to pursue a similar life journey. Thank you for believing in me.——————

I worked with the “teacher duo” at West Randall for 7 years.  Both Mr. and Mrs. Romero brought smiles and laughter to our day. Many days, I would see them together sharing lunch; Mrs. Romero always setting the table.  A truly blessed couple! My condolences Mrs Romero and thank you for the fond memories.

Randolph Romero was my neighbor on Layton St. in Rancho Cucamonga. I’m the same age as his daughter, Robin. Randolph is remembered by me as a leader and mentor. He would regularly lead bible studies for my parents and was our AWANAS leader (Church youth program).  In times of doubt or fear I find myself reflecting on bible stories and verses that Randolph first read or introduced to me. It’s impossible to measure the value of giving another human being the understand and knowledge of faith. However, that is what Randolph did for his entire family and those around him. He pointed the way to God and Jesus Christ through his actions and commitment.  Growing up without my father was difficult and I always admired how close the Romero family was through their faith. I know he is extremely proud of his son and two daughters. He raised them right and did a fantastic job! I only hope to do as good of work with supporting and providing for my family. Thank you Randolph, thank you for your son and daughters, thank you for your knowledge and patience. 

My Uncle was a kind, humble man of God. You truly will be missed. I sure was looking forward to more memories, Brian also enjoyed all the conversations and advice. Continue to rest in paradise Uncle Randolph until we meet again.

When we first moved to Rancho Cucamonga, the Romero's were one of the first families to welcome us into their family.


Linda and I truly enjoyed all the board games we played and the Karaoke that we sang over the years, not to mention the many, many birthday parties as we watched the kids grow.


We will always treasure those memories and we want to say thank you for opening your home to us making us feel like family.


I wish continued blessings to your family, and I know it will not be long until we see each other again.


We will miss you my friend.



Randolph and his sweet wife were some of my first friends at West Randall when I began teaching music in the elementary enrichment department.  Attending music workshops in Redlands, working with their classes and later with others has been a joy.  They are both such wonderful, loving, supportive people- the number of lives blessed by them both are uncountable.  Randy, you're with us.

I've spent quite a bit of time with Randolph when I was on the worship team with him for a couple of years at FBC where our family has gone since around 1997. Every single time I saw Randolph he was always smiling and always so kind.  Going to get breakfast between services with Randolph, Raymond Durand (my dad) and Keith that has since passed away as well is a memory that I will always love.  Such an amazing man that will be truly missed. 

Mr. Romero was such a great teacher, in addition to being a great guy as well. When I started teaching at West Randall he was always so willing to help out, without any hesitation. He just had this aura about him, you could tell something was special about him. He was a man you could really look up to, not only as a mentor teacher, but also a father role model, great example of a husband,  and a wonderful son of God, I'll always carry his memory. My condolences to you Mrs. Romero, and to your kids. You will be in my prayers. 

To the Romero family/loved ones, we are very sorry for your loss.  Randolph was a good man and was humble and a good teacher at First Baptist Church where we got to know him.  He exhibited the character of God.  You will be in our prayers during this difficult season.  May God wrap His blanket of comfort around you all.

I am so sorry for your loss. He was a great guy and you. could tell he loved the Lord. Iwas in bible study with him and your mom At Vickie and Georges and I really enjoyed the time we got to be in the group. He will really be missed 

    My husband John and I are just devastated about the news of the sudden passing of Randolph Sr…  and our hearts go out to Renetta and family.   We have known Randolph, Renetta and the family for well over twenty years now and consider them our best friends/extended family.  We met them because we were the other teaching couple at West Randall.  I think John may have been hired right after Randolph and Renetta and then I the following year.  Soon after that we we became close with their family and fell in love with them all as well.  

    My life has been significantly touched and affected by the Romeros in many ways.  But here I’ll just name a few….  Many years ago my dad moved to FLorida/separated from my mom when I just started college.  Then right after college I met John and the Romeros at West Randall.  In the decades to come I felt like Randolph was a little bit like a “surrogate” dad for me (For sure like a father figure).  When I was suffering through post partum…  and depression, he and Renetta were really really there for me especially in our bible study years which they hosted and led.  They truly were God’s hands, feet, and mouthpiece for me when I really really needed it most.   
   
    Also, when our special needs little guy was born, John and I eventually decided to trade-off years teaching.  That meant when it was my turn I was kinda on my own and feeling quite like a “fish out of water”.  But thanks to God, the Romeros were there for me again.  I remember so many afternoons after school when Randolph gladly helped me with all of my stressful technology issues.  I would have never made it without them!

    The last thing I will mention here is that over our decades of close friendship with Randolph, Renetta and family… we’ve been blessed to have soooooo much fun with them and make so many fond memories! I’m truly truly grateful for them and the whole entire family.  Oh Randolph will surely surely  be missed! Until we meet again, In heaven

Our condolences to Mrs. Romero and the rest of the Romero family. My daughter Priscilla was Mr. Romero’s current student. He also taught my oldest daughter Melody, 5 years ago. With his wife, he co taught my son Isaac as well. I’d never see one, without the other, they were truly a tag team teaching duo. Thank you for your dedication to all the students who came your way. My you Rest In Peace and your memory live on forever.

Although I didn't know Randolph for too long, it was an honor being apart of his life for the time that I was. What I saw was a man who was loved by his family, his peers, and anyone who was lucky enough to make his acquaintance. You can tell a man’s character by the family he raises and the strength of his family’s  love and let me tell you, it was very apparent that he was an amazing father, husband, and grandfather.  He managed to raise 3 outstanding children who showed him nothing less than the upmost respect, it only goes to show you the kind of man he was and I am extremely grateful to be able to have called him my friend. Although he is gone, he will always remain in our hearts and in our memory. May he rest in peace.

Mr Romero was my teacher in 5th grade it’s been already almost 10 years and I finally got to see him after he became my oldest sons teacher. He was such a awesome teacher he was always there when I needed help when I needed advise. He also helped my sister when my dad passed away he gave her advise and helped her so much thanks to him we learned so much my condolences to the Romero family

Mr.Romero was one of the most brilliant man I've ever met.he was a funny and cool teacher and would never be forgotten and this is very hurtful for me and my classmates. This hurts me so much because this happened a week before Christmas. This is so sad and may he rest in peace . I loved Mr Romero. He was so funny and nice. I remember on picture day seeing him dance while we waited and messed around outside the picture room. This is truly heartbreaking. He also played my drums in class and that was one of the most talented things I’ve seen. I wish the best for the Romero family, goodbye Mr. Romero 💔

I have had the pleasure of having my students with the Romero’s for a few years! Mr.Romero was by far one of the most amazing 6th grade teachers out there! He will truly be missed! Our deepest condolences to the whole family! Especially to Mrs.Romero 💕
