

Raymond Esaw Sears Jr. was born on March 29th 1961, in Upland, CA to Elder Raymond Esaw Sears Sr. and Stella Mae Henderson-Berry who he would later unite with in Heaven. Raymond, also known as “Mad Ray” to his hood brothers and sisters, was later raised in Ontario, CA. He attended Pomona High School and thereafter would move to Alaska where he would become a trained and very skilled Chinese cuisine chef. He was also a welder by trade for many, many years. Raymond, found joy in cooking and spending as much time as he could with his loved ones. Although, Raymond possessed many skills, the thing he was most proud of was his children which he leaves behind. From oldest to youngest, Marquis “Trayvon” Sears, RaeMisha Clifton, Desire Jenkins, Kisharay Sears, Raenell “Stink” Sears, and Raevel “Ladies” Sears. Grandchildren Makhi Perry, Dare’ Jenkins, Camilla, Desire, and Tru Sears. He would also leave behind his siblings which he loved dearly, oldest to youngest, Ivel King of Upland, CA, Marcus Jennings of Pomona, CA, Tina Sharp of Fresno, CA and Calious Berry III of Las Vegas, NV. Raymond was third oldest of the siblings. He also leaves his last surviving uncle on his mother’s side, Cornell Hall of Ontario, CA, 18 nieces and nephews, and a host of friends and extended family. Raymond, was funny, he had a generous heart, a smile that lit up a room, a laugh that was contagious, a charm that was undeniable and personality that is non comparable. He will be truly missed.
