Our Dad, Grandad, Great-Grandad, Husband, friend and mentor lived a long active life loving the outdoors. He loved playing Mahjong on his computer; he loved to watch Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune as well as old westerns. Later in his life he loved to sit in his favorite chair on his back patio and drink his morning coffee and smoke a cigar.
He was a veteran, fisherman, rifleman, and a great cook and storyteller. He always had a joke to tell, was an impeccable dresser, computer guru, CB enthusiast and a lover of all types of music, especially gospel. He worked as a linotype operator and mechanic for Times Mirror Press.
He would always sing a happy tune or whistle while working in his garden. Later in life he loved to share stories of his childhood and friends he met along the way.
We miss him dearly and look forward to the day we see him again; and in the meantime cherish those memories forever.
