My condolences to the Chavez Family.  I was saddened to hear of his passing. I knew him as a teenager when he lived on Phillips St.   I have wonderful memories of him .  We used to call him the Bear. He was a gentle soul always.  Again so sorry for the Chavez Family for the loss of a wonderful man.

Dear Chavez Family,

   My deepest and sincerest condolences to the Familia Chavez. Very few people new Ted as long as I did. I new him as Sluggo. Go way back to Sunkist Street days. Yup, we were next door neighbors. Sluggo was two weeks older than me. Of course you will miss him. He was a good man. He never belittled anyone. Familia, don’t worry about Sluggo, my Mary will show him the way things are done in Heaven. May the Lord welcome him with open arms. He’s gone home. God bless Sluggo, and his family and friends. Peace out.
