

Monsignor Timothy Lawlor, 97, passed away on June 15, 2015 at Inland Christian Home in Ontario, California. He was born on April 29, 1918 to William and Hanna Lawlor in Tripol, a town near Ballybunnin, Ireland. One of six children, Timothy was a huge sports fan focusing on American and Irish football. Monsignor was a priest in the Catholic Church for 72 years. He was a kind, gentle, and committed minister of God. His work was devoted to members of his church and ministering to incarcerated women. He was always available to give an anointing to the sick and to do masses for the sick and disabled in the nursing home. His most note worthy statement was, "What would Jesus do"?
Visitation will be held at St. George Catholic Church, 505 N. Palm Avenue in Ontario, California on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 6:00 PM followed with the Rosary at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at St. George Catholic Church at 9:00 AM with committal service immediately following at Bellevue Memorial Park, 1240 W. "G" Street, Ontario, California.
