James Alan Schmidt

He was born on December 27, 1951, in Sandusky, Ohio, to the late John and Mary (Williams) Schmidt. He retired from Fenner Dunlop in Port Clinton, Ohio. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, biking and riding his motorcycle. Anywhere out west was a favorite travel destination. Most of all, James will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather.

He is survived by two treasured daughters, Danielle Schmidt (Ryan Baker) and Heather Schmidt (Eric Eubanks); and five beloved grandchildren, Jazlyn, Kenzie, Gabby, Brently and Kaden.

There will be no visitation or services observed. Wappner Funeral Directors and Crematory-Ontario is honored to serve the family.
