She was born July 3, 1949, in Piqua, Ohio, to the late Dolores Mae (Shepard) Coccaville and Harry Joseph Adams Sr. Katherine retired from Gorman-Rupp and previously worked at Fuji. She enjoyed going to craft shows, cross stitching and completing puzzles. Going to the beach was one of her favorite times. Katherine enjoyed going to Kingwood Center Gardens and loved plants of all kinds. Most of all, spending time with her family was her joy.
She is survived by two daughters, Christina (Brian) Anatra and Tracy Peters; five grandchildren, Danielle Miller, Braiden and Xander Anatra, and Caleb and Maddie Peters; three great-grandchildren, Leah Harris and Parker and Casper Miller; a brother, Harry “Joe” (Diana) Adams Jr.; three sisters, June Wayne, Julie Johnson and Elaine Sluka; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2024, at Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Mike Wilson officiating. She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
