Leo Arnett

He was born March 5, 1939, in Salyersville, Kentucky, to the late Nelda (Risner) and Sanford Arnett. On October 31, 1964, he married Marcella Johnston, and they made many treasured memories. Leo enlisted and proudly served his county in the US Army. He worked as a farmer and later became a corrections officer working at the Ohio State Reformatory. Leo also worked in construction over the years.

He occupied many hours with his hobbies of beekeeping and gardening. Leo enjoyed caring for his beloved horse, Toby. Spending time with his family was one of his favorite ways to pass the time.

Leo is survived by his wife of nearly 61 years, Marcella Arnett; two children, Timothy (Patricia) Arnett and Vanessa Arnett; three grandchildren, Samantha (Cody Cellentani) Arnett, Matthew and Nicholas Arnett; a great-grandson, Leo; and many other cherished family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Cleo (Paul) Arnett.

There will be no visitation or service observed.
