Michael Harold Watson

He retired after 31 years at Abbott Laboratories as a fork lift operator. Michael enjoyed classic cars and traveling Route 66 and collecting Route 66 memorabilia. He was an avid coin collector who also enjoyed camping and having picnics with his family. Michael proudly served his country in the US Army in the Vietnam War.

Michael is survived by his wife, Joylee (Goff) Watson; children, Lee (Elizabeth) Watson and Brian Watson; brothers and sisters, Linda Amick, Julia Ringler, Joel Watson, Noralee Sloan, Nancy (Rodney) Lawrence and Steven Watson; grandchildren, Brittany Whitmore-Perry, Kevin Kitts, Rachel (Patrick) Kennish, Shelby Watson, Kearstin Williams, Gabriel Watson and Wednesday Watson; 12 great grandchildren; and many cherished family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Samantha Kitts.

He will be laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date. Wappner Funeral Directors – Ontario, is honored to serve the family. Memorial contributions may be made to VFW Post 1067 in Ashland.
