Randy graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 1969. In 1975 he started his career as an over the road truck driver, first with Mayflower, then over 34 years with Roadway Express (YRC). He retired in 2013 with an exceptional safety record.
His personal life revolved around family, friends, and enjoying the outdoors. He spent much of his time bike riding, walking, and kayaking. The family often camped or took ski trips to Snow Trails and Seven Springs. He loved country music and was known to start singing and dancing when the right song played.
Randy loved to laugh, whether he was the one telling the joke, listening to a comedian, or watching a great movie. Randy was an excellent cook and baker! He loved preparing meals for the family and enjoying them together. He was constantly there for others by fixing cars, doing home improvement projects, taking people to doctor’s appointments, and attending sporting events. If someone needed help, he was there for them.
He will be greatly missed by his children, Kevin Williams, Ryan Satir, and Abby Williams (Curt), grandchildren; Parker Williams, Paige Williams, Finnegan Williams, and Corbin Satir, sisters; Linda Brady, Joyce Binion, Marquetta (Clyde) Dykes and Anita Snow (Jeff) O’Brien, brothers; Danny (Karen) Williams and Jeff Williams, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends.
