Richard Adam Bricker

Richard worked for General Motors of Ontario, Ohio for 31.7 years where he retired from in 1989. He was a member of Illinois Avenue Apostolic Church for many years. Richard loved to play his accordion or portable organ at nursing homes for the patients. He really enjoyed traveling to his place in Zapata, Texas for the winters. Most of the time you would find him on his mower, whether at home or a neighbor’s yard.

He is survived by his children, three daughters, Sue Chester of Mount Vernon, Betty (Chuck) Reed of Mount Vernon, and Eva Rinehart of Centerburg; two sons, Richard (Teena) Bricker of Fredericktown and John (Patty) Bricker of Fredericktown. Twelve grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 48 years, Helen L. (Weaver) Bricker, three brothers and one sister.

Family and friends are invited to a graveside service on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 10:00AM at Mansfield Cemetery, 389 Altamont Avenue, Mansfield, Ohio 44902.
