Steve was born January 14, 1959, in Mansfield, Ohio to the late Virgil and Cathy (Longo) Riggenbach. He married the love of his life, Kimberly Elkins, 43 years ago and they created a most beautiful life together. Steve was a sentimental man who relished being a husband, dad and “Pappy”. He especially enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s events throughout the community.
He valued education and earned an Associate Degree in Computer Design. Steve was a very hard-working man who spent 35 years at Gorman Rupp and 19 years as a part-time associate at Home Depot. He taught classes at “Tiger Martial Arts”, and the YMCA. He was a 4th degree black belt in Taekwondo and skilled in using martial arts weaponry. In his free time, he enjoyed cooking, flower gardening, troubleshooting and fixing small engines.
