Adair Frank, age 88, passed away on October 11, 2013 at his home in DeLand. ” Frank”, as everyone knew him, was born in Bucyrus, Ohio on August 3, 1925. He served in the US Navy during WWII and the Korean War. A mechanic by trade, Frank owned and operated Frank’s Garage in DeLand. Frank had a great passion for antique cars, motorcycles and his John Deere tractors.
Frank was a 50 year member of the F&AM, a Life Member of the V.F.W., Am Vets, American Legion, Elks and the Eagles Club. He was also a member of the Florida Fly Wheels Antique Engines.
Frank was the loving husband of Virginia Frank for 65 years.
He is survived by his 2 sons, Raymond (Karen) Frank, and Tommy (Stacy) Frank, 2 daughters, Sherry Mero and Deborah (Greg) Wray; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received on Friday, October 25th from 10 - 11 am at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd., Orange City, Florida 386-775-4260. A Life Celebration Service will follow at 11 am in the funeral home chapel with Chaplain Ray Bertrand officiating. Interment will follow in DeLand Memorial Gardens with full military honors.
