

Betty Sue Oliver, 90, of Longwood, passed away Monday, January 3rd, 2022. She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on November 17th, 1931. She lived in many places; Indiana, New York, Jacksonville, and Deland. She married the love of her live, Gene Oliver, in 1956. They lived in Orlando for years before moving to Longwood in 1968. They were married for 52 years.
Betty ran a daycare in her younger days, but loved her job as a School Bus Driver. She drove for Orange and Seminole Counties for over 30 years.
She had a passion for flowers and working in her yard. She loved anything to do with the water. The Beach was her Happy Place. Many months were spent Shrimping, Fishing, and Crabbing in Oak Hill. She loved to cook, loved crafting, going to the movies, and shopping!! Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
She had four children. Lenny Oliver, Judy Funk (preceded), Mike Oliver (preceded), Karan Bryant, and raised her brother Stoney (preceded).
She has 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
She had 3 brothers, Teddy, Ned, and Stoney (all preceded).
Service will be held at Deltona Memorial on Saturday, January 15th, 2022 at 3:00pm.
A celebration of life memorial service for Betty will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763.
