Blanca Nieves Torres

She was married to Pedro Torres on June 28, 1957.

Blanca was a caregiver and humanitarian within the Peekskill community for many years, but raising her family was her priority. She was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in New York and Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Deltona, Florida. She had a passion for gardening, cooking, singing in church, and loving her family.

Blanca is survived by her children, Nancy and John Cronk, Peter and Connie Torres, Melissa and Adam Divelbiss, Monika and Keith Jones, Billy Torres, and Amy and Michael Semon; grandchildren, Kristin Cronk, Jonathan Cronk, Timothy Divelbiss, Justin Divelbiss, Austin Jones, Ethan Jones, Randy Semon, Aiden Semon, Mitchell Torres, and Andrew Torres; great-grandchildren, Tyara Cronk, James Cronk, Zaria Jones, and Jade Jones; siblings, Carmen Lydia Torres, Jorge David Torres, and Elcian Rafael Torres.

A visitation for Blanca will be held Sunday, April 27, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763. A mass of christian burial will occur Monday, April 28, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic, 1310 Maximilian St, Deltona, FL 32725. A committal service will occur Monday, April 28, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Deltona Memorial Gardens, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, Florida 32763.
