Orange City, FL died on July 5, 2012 at Florida Hospital Fish Memorial in Orange City. Carl was born February 5, 1931 in Gallipolis, OH the son of the late Aubra and Violet Sowards Smith.
Carl is survived by his wife Helen; 2 sons, Danny (Pennie) Smith of Leesburg, FL and Dennis (Rosemary) Smith of Tampa, FL; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; brother Keith; sisters, Carol Bellville, Linda Smith, Shirley Rogers, Glenna Boston and Bessie Kirby; several nieces and nephews.
Carl was predeceased by his grandson Christopher in 2008.
Visitation for family and friends will be Monday July 9th 9-11 AM at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, where Funeral Service will follow at 11 AM. Chaplain David Meyer Officiating. Burial will be in Deltona Memorial Gardens, Orange City.
