Mr. Samuelson was born on November 10, 1924 in Jamestown, New York, the son of Harvey A. and Minnie J. Hoover Samuelson. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II serving in the Phillipines and the New York State National Guard. Mr. Samuelson moved to Florida from Dunkirk, New York in 1982. He was a retired automotive tech with Massey Cadillac and Starling Chevrolet in DeLand. He enjoyed helping others and giving advice and helping others fix their cars.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary and one son, Gary C. Samuelson. He is survived by a son, Stewart R. Samuelson and two daughters, Mary Ann Samuelson-Unlu and Amelia J. Duke; a brother, Roger H. Samuelson and a sister, Edna Mikula; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Graveside inurnment services will be held on Friday, September 14th at 10:00 am at DeLand Memorial Gardens in DeLand, Florida.
