Donald R. McLeod Jr.

Mr. McLeod was born on March 20, 1928 in Chosen, Florida, the son of Donald R. and Alice A. Hudson McLeod, Sr. He was a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. He served for 20 years in the Air Force and 20 years in the USDA Inspection Service, was Editor and Chief of the Air Force 'Castell Bull' Newspaper, Germany, a 40 year member of the Clan McLeod Scottish Society, games chairman for the Jacksonville Scottish Highland Games, Proud Father and events chairman for the Celtic Band Seven N Inc., member of St. John's Masonic Lodge, DeLand, Florida, member of Jacksonville Antique MG Car Club and vice-chairman of the Sumter County Republlic Party.

He was united in marriage to Mary Jessup from Maid stone, Kent, England in 1954. They were married for 27 years prior to her death. He was then united in marriage to Janice Nebeker Klossner in 1983 in Georgia. They were married for 30 years.

He is survived by his wife, Janice; two sons, Kevin McLeod of Sumter, SC and Kirk McLeo of South Bend, IN; two daughters, Lori McLeod Wilke of Blytheville, AR and Amy McLeod Brewer of Maslin, OH; two stepchildren, Michael Todd Klossner and Stephanie Klossner French; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; three sisters and several nieces and nephews.
