Elaine Carol Barden was born on March 14, 1936, in New London, Connecticut to parents Victor Frausini and Inez Ciofi. She had 3 wonderful brothers, Gus, Victor Jr., and Alan. She moved to California and married Colonel Arnold Barden where she gained a stepson, Arnold Jr. (Jay) and adopted a child, Lisa. Elaine worked in various careers as a travel agent, an event coordinator at the Hotel del Coronado, and lastly a corporate secretary for T&M Mechanical. Her passions included listening to live jazz music, playing golf, and hosting gatherings. Elaine passed away in our home in Florida on August 14th, 2024. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Lavoie, son-in-law Paul Lavoie, granddaughter Bella Lavoie, and her loyal dog and companion Cooper. In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to the Alzheimer's Association. A Celebration of Life luncheon be held at a later date in San Diego. More details to come.
