Ernie was born the third son of Ernie and Verde Mae Johnson. He loved playing baseball and football and was an excellent student. Attended College in Tennessee on a football scholarship. He had a long career in selling building materials and excelled at it. He was last working at 84 Lumber, which he loved.
Ernie is survived by Dixi Johnson and three children, Natalie Johnson, Nicole Johnson and Erik Johnson. Also his oldest brother Robert Johnson.
Preceded in death by his Mother and Father and his middle brother Ronnie Johnson.
A celebration of Ernie's life will be planned for Saturday, April 8th. Details to follow when complete.
