Frank Duran passed away on January 29, 2020, at the age of 82. Born in Lubbock, Texas, Frank hailed from a large family. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and proudly served.
Eventually, Frank moved to Central Florida where he raised his family and became a life-long resident. Frank supported his family by being a very high-skilled drywall technician. He worked on many Central Florida hotels and the Convention Center. Upon retirement from the drywall industry, Frank took on a retirement part-time job of driving cars for the local auto auction. Upon permanent retirement, you could find Frank sitting in the backyard enjoying the sunshine and watching his dogs play.
Frank leaves behind his wife Susan Duran of Deltona, seven children: Ken Duran, Tom Duran, Karen Galvez, Jim Duran, Rick Duran, David Duran, Paul Marmon and Heidi Winfield. In addition, Frank has ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Frank was no stranger to hard work, large families, and his devote practice of his Catholic faith. Frank will remain in our hearts with fond memories, his love of family dinners, sneaking scraps to the dogs, and his genuine kind heart.
