Gary R. Potter, 78, of Deltona, Florida, passed away on February 19, 2023. He was born in Tacoma, Washington, on October 19, 1944. He and his significant other, Donna Noll, were together for over 20 years. Gary served in the US Navy, including two tours in Vietnam. He worked as a maintenance tech at Seminole State College, Lake Mary campus. He had a passion for orchids, fishing and motorcycles. He is survived by his daughters Vicki Clarkson and Andrea Blackmore, as well as his son, John Potter. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Sean, Max, Allen, Devin and Daniel, and his great grandchildren, Ezra and Cairo. He is predeceased by his parents, John H. Potter and Irma Bothwell, his brother, James E. Potter, and a grandson, Christopher Blackmore.
A memorial service for Gary will be held Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763.
