He was born on the 8th of May 1939 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Carvel & Nellie (Croft) Hare.
By trade, George was a successful Respiratory Therapist and Physician’s Assistant, becoming the founder and first President of the Florida Physician’s Assistant Society. Outside of work, George excelled at everything else! Before he went into medicine, George engineered a rocket at high school age; and throughout his life, he added sailing, art & photography, appreciation for jazz and classical music, and anything Irish! George (“Murph”…”O’Hare”) will forever be remembered for his St. Paddy’s Day antics, and for his “warped, joyful sarcasm” every day. He was the life of the party, and his family & friends will continue to celebrate him for many years to come.
George was preceded in death by his dear parents, Carvel & Nellie Hare; and, his daughter, Kimberly Hare.
He is survived by his adoring family: Margaret “Buff” Hare (Spouse), Clifford (Brother), Sharon (Sister) Christopher (Step-Son), Stephanie (Daughter), Roshanna (Daughter), numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Please join us for a “warped, joyful” Celebration of Life on the 7th of March 2020 at 2:30pm at
