age 88 of Deltona, FL passed away peacefully of natural causes on August 9, 2013. He was born in Limina Messina Sicily to the late Sebastiano and Caterina Bartolotta. Giovanni was predeceased by his wife and love of his life for over 50 years, Frances. He is survived by his son, Greg Bartolotta of Deltona and his daughter, Catherine Scarpone of Orange City; 2 grandsons, Stephen Scarpone, Jr. and Michael Scarpone; many nieces and nephews.
Giovanni enjoyed hunting, gardening and cooking. Giovanni was very passionate about his family and friends and will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, August 30th from 2 - 4 & 6 -8 pm at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd. Orange City, FL, PH: 386-775-4250. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, August 31st at 10 am at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 26 Dogwood Trail, DeBary, FL 32713. Entombment will follow Mass in Deltona Memorial Gardens, Orange City.
