Glenda R. Anderson

Glenda R. Anderson, age 84 of Deltona, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022. She was born December 3, 1937 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Her family moved to the Detroit area in 1941 and she graduated from Clawson High School in 1955. After graduation, she attended Wayne State University. In 1957, She married Eric Anderson and they were married for 40 years before his passing in 1998. In 1997, they moved to Deltona, Florida from Rochester Hills, Michigan. Glenda was a homemaker with deep roots in the communities she lived in through her volunteerism.

She is survived by her daughter, Corinne (Charles) Trinkl, Deltona, FL, Timothy Anderson, Macomb, MI, Melissa (Paul) Stade, Macomb, MI, 5 grandchildren, and 1 great grandson.

In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by her parents, Claude (Buck) and J. Ethel Hilton, and her daughter-in-law, Jenifer Anderson.

A Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 6-8 PM at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held 2PM Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Community United Methodist Church, 41 W. Highbanks Rd. Debary, Florida. Interment will follow at Deltona Memorial Gardens, Orange City, Florida.
