Gontran was a retired District Manager for AT&T, a member of Volusia County Baptist Church, loved classical music, playing the flute, reading and traveling. He was united in marriage to Cynthia Harvey on August 18, 1984.
He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Cynthia Pierre-Jerome, a son, Patrick Pierre-Jerome; two daughters, Nancy Pierre-Jerome and Simone Pierre-Jerome; four brothers. Gerald, Eric, Jean-Claude Pierre-Jerome and Leon Novenbre; three sisters, Lunine Robinson, Gisele Pierre-Jerome and Ketty Rameau; seven grandchildren, Manon, Etienne, Genevea, Aniesha, Vincent, Musset and Mario. He was also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Sandy and granddaughter, Briaja.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 1, 2011 from 6 - 8 pm at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd., Orange City FL PH: 386-775-4260. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 11:00 am at Volusia County Baptist Church, 261 S. Orange Avenue, Orange City, FL 32763 with Pastor John Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in Deltona Memorial Gardens in Orange City, Florida.
