
He was born in Roswell, New Mexico on January 22, 1947. Harmon graduated from Andrew Jackson High School and continued his education at Valencia Community College, where he earned his bachelor’s degree.
Harmon was united in marriage to his beloved wife, Mary Ellen Rea, on June 29, 1968. Together they shared many years of love, partnership, and devotion.
He dedicated over 40 years of his professional life to the automotive industry, retiring from Chrysler Corporation. In addition to his career, Harmon proudly served his country with honor in the United States Army.
A man of many passions, Harmon was a member of the VFW and an Eagle Scout. He was also an evangelist at heart and found great joy in his interests as a Master Scuba Diver and an amateur pilot.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ellen Rea; his children, Michelle Ginn, Melissa Rocque, John Rea, Melodie Rea Bishop, Melinda Rea, and Joe Rea; and his many cherished grandchildren, including Joshua Rea, Steven Bishop, Brian Bishop, Molly Ginn Garcia, Jeremy Rea, Justin Rea, Jordan Bishop, Evan Rocque, Lauren Rocque, Angelique Bailey, James Bailey, Morgan Ginn, Megan Ginn, Madison Rea, and Josiah Rea.
Harmon will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his country, and the legacy of love and strength he leaves behind.
