Heinz received his Bachelor's degree from Jones College in Orlando. He was a Korean Army Veteran and retired from Lockheed Martin Corporation as a Quality Control Engineer. He loved woodworking, oil painting and fishing.
He is survived by his son, Chris (Laura) Fortmueller of Ocoee, FL; two daughters, Barbara A. (Hal) Groves and Linda M. (Jeff) Creson both of Clermont, FL; 5 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
Friends will be received on Monday, May 9th at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home 1295 Saxon Blvd. Orange City FL from 6:00pm-8:00pm.
The Family will hold a private military service in Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue Bushnell, FL 33513
