Isabelle R. Dodson

Mrs. Dodson was born on November 11, 1922 in Millwood, Virginia, the daughter of Raleigh Colston and Julia Wood Elsea. She was a food service manager in the Senate Office Building on Capital Hill for over twenty years. She was also Condo Manager for Atlantic Ormond Beach for 16 years prior to her retirement. She was a member of Volusia County Baptist Church in Orange City.

Mrs. Dodson is survived by two daughters, Julia (Bruce) Ruka and Barbara Jean (Marion) Copes of Grington, VA; and a stepdaughter, Beverly (Carroll) Chrisman of Lexington, SC; and a stepson, James (Debbie) Dodson, Jr. of Kingsport, TN; thirteen grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and many great great-grandchildren.

Friends may call on Thursday, April 26th from 10 - 11 am at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, FL., PH: 386-775-4260. Funeral services will immediately follow at the funeral home at 11 am with Chaplain James Patterson officiating. Burial will follow services at Deltona Memorial Gardens in Orange City.
