He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Thelma Colbert and his great grandson Carter Simons. He is survived by his children Cathy Mulligan, Billy Colbert, Paul Colbert, Nancy Dodd and her husband Greg, Robert Colbert and his wife Becky and Susan Grow and her husband Ronnie. Keith Mulligan, fifteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survive.
