

Jim served four years in the U.S. Navy as a Fire Control Technician. Twenty years with the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department. After retiring from the D.C. Police Department he worked as a hotel manager and with Knogo, an electronics security firm.
Jim was an avid golfer with 3 Holes-In-One and a seven handicap at age 83. He enjoyed music and played the fiddle. He liked to tinker with electronics around his house and touring the lake on his pontoon boat. He had a strong belief in God.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Becky Fiori and daughter, Debbie Hubbard. Tim Wixson (step son). Jim was the last surviving child of 10 brothers and sisters.
He’s survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Zita Fiori and her children. Jeff Wixson (step son). Chris Revord (step daughter). Jerry Wixson (step son). A son, James Fiori and wife, Jean. A daughter, Linda Caron and husband, Dave. A daughter, Karen Mathias and husband, Kevin. A son, Stephen Fiori. He is survived by 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
A visitation for James will occur Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, St. Clare’s Catholic Church, 2961 Day Road, Deltona, FL 32738. A funeral service will follow on Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at St. Clare’s Catholic Church, 2961 Day Road, Deltona, FL 32738. A committal service will occur Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Deltona Memorial Gardens, 1295 Saxon Blvd., Orange City, FL 32763.
