Jean M McCreedy Francis

Jean was born on February 23, 1925 in Steubenville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Lloyd Charles and Martha Elizabeth Robinson McCreedy. She was raised in Orlando, Florida. Jean married Roy W. Francis, Jr. on January 7, 1943. They lived in Winter Park until she retired as a bookkeeper. Then she and her husband moved to Orange City. She was a member of the DeBary Presbyterian Church since 1987 and active with the Presbyterian Women, the Rebekah Circle and the Member Care Ministry.

Jean was predeceased by her husband, Roy after 56 years and her daughter, Vicki Elizabeth. She is survived by her 2 sons, Richard R. Francis, Sr. and his wife, Bette of DeLand, FL and Roy W. Francis III and his wife, Kathie of Winter Springs, FL; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Douglas C. McCreedy and his wife, JoAnn of MO and James E. McCreedy and his wife, Cynthia of WA; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, May 20th from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 pm at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, FL; PH: 386-775-4260. A graveside service will be held Monday, May 21st at 10 am at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Winter Park, Florida.
