She is survived by her son John (Diane) Rufo of Wind Gap, PA; daughters Christine (Robert) Cassese of Deltona, FL and Eileen (Meindert) Dijkhuis of Sylvania, AL; 7 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Frank Rufo.
Joan had a career as an executive secretary and retired from Siemens in Lake Mary, FL. She enjoyed writing, painting, gardening and had been an active member of St. Clare Catholic Church.
A Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday December 15, 2020 at 11am at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Deltona Memorial Gardens. To those whom desire to attend, we kindly ask that you wear a face mask or face covering upon entering the facilities.
In lieu of flowers a contribution to Parkinson’s research or Halifax Hospice could be made in Joan Rufo’s name.
